Haría
Haria is one of the agricultural villages in the North of Lanzarote. The area around this village is not as rocky and barren as the rest of Lanzarote. Lying in the Valley of the 10.000 palm trees, Haria looks like it should not belong on the rocky, volcanic isle of Lanzarote. From the view point of Mirador de Haria, you can have a fantastic view over the whole valley. Haria is also the final resting place of the famous Cezar Manrique, It is impossible to imagine Lanzarote as it stands today without him, He was a painter, sculptor, architect, ecologist, monument preserver, construction advisor, planner of urban developments, outliner of landscapes and gardens. He lived here for some year after he left his house in Tahiche. Every saturday the village hosts the only artisan market on the island and its possible to purchase local arts and crafts as well as locally grown foods and wines. You can also find some fantastic restaurants where only traditional food is served. Copyright @ The Property Warehouse S L . Calle Palangre 1, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. 35510.
