Masdache
Masdache is in the heart of the wine growing region of Lanzarote, you will find many small bodegas in the area that you can visit and sample the wares before buying. The area is also very popular with cyclists who train in this area leading up to the Iron Man competition which takes place in May of each year.
In the centre of Masdache is a small church which is the focal point for all the fiestas, the main celebration being in the month of August when you will find something happening on almost every day of the month.
The village is not far from many places on the island, the town of Tias is five minutes away by car with its busy centre containing restaurants, supermarket and local bakery which opens at 7 every morning
